News – 2016

October 10th – Commissioned by David Pablo Cohn to paint a large piece depicting their newly acquired ranch complete with barn, house and pond. His challenge for me was to capture the feel of the acreage as it is now, before restoration begins. We agreed on four panels each 20 inches wide by 36 inches tall.

July 21st – Commissioned by Hudson Valley Health Systems in Middletown, New York to create artwork for their new Physicians office building. Nina Favata, the art curator was searching for a large piece for the surgical waiting area. Because the folks waiting here are family members of people having surgery, she thought that the uplifting and bright imagery of my work would be a welcome respite. The finished artwork consisting of three panels fifteen feet long was crated, shipped and installed on a 24 foot wall in the waiting area just days before the grand opening festivities!

July 16th – Commissioned by Eric and Casey Reeter to paint my rendition of their sprawling, beautifully manicured Wilderbee Farm. The painting consists of two 30×40 inch panels that will make a great presentation in their new Meadery.
